ISTANBUL INTERNATIONAL GASTRONOMY FESTIVAL
5th edition
13rd – 17th December 2007

The Istanbul International Gastronomy Festival was held for fifth time in Istanbul, Turkey. Over 300 international companies take part in the Festival.

The Bulgarian team of Professional Chefs took part at 12 disciplines and won 2 Silver medals, 4 Bronze medals and 3 distinction diplomas.

Eliza Bojinova competed in two disciplines - Restaurant plated sweets (display)  and Restaurant plated sweets (practical). She won the Bronze medal in Restaurant plated sweets (display).

Alexander Chobanov competed in two disciplines - Restaurant plated sweets where he receive diploma and Decoration Celebration cake Royal icing honored with Bronze medal.

Vesela Veselinova competed in four disciplines - -Marzipan, where she won the Silver, Wedding cake which received distinction diploma ,Miniatures which won the Bronze medal and Miniature Sugar Flowers also with Bronze medal

Petar Iankov competed in one discipline - Lamb dish where he received disctincition diploma
           
Dian Dimitrov competed in two disciplines -  Original Fish Dish and Cuisine Modern for which he won the silver.

The team also made memorable participation in the Practical Team and Team Grand Prix(Black Box) categories. The competitors there were Plamen Stamov, Georgi Rahnev and Georgi Sekulidis.
